I’m just going to chalk it up to it being the European/American difference. Especially the front desk which sets the tone for the whole experience. Hotel: 4/5 Cleaning Staff: 5/5 Front Desk: 3/5 Parking: 4/5 Personally, I found the staff to be fine. After that we were too tired from our daily excursions to be bothered by it.
5th night: there were three simultaneous events…I can’t begin to make this up.
The music was great but when we asked the front desk what the event was the young lady didn’t have any idea. 4th night: there appears to be an outdoor club at the end of the property. 1st night: there was a wedding and a first communion. They definitely should just warn you that it is a popular hotel for events, at least during the summer, so during our 5 nights there were 3 nights of celebration. The room we stayed in was very modern and well maintained. I find the word ‘luxury’ misused a lot but in this case it was accurate. We really liked the hotel, it was a last minute accommodation which we really appreciated and for $500 a night it was pretty nice.
